Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2021 Dodge Durango, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class IV 2 inch hitch receiver. Adding a 2 inch hitch receiver is gonna allow you to do a few different things. You can use it with accessories like a cargo carrier or a bike rack. You can take those bikes to and from the trailer, you can get some of the cargo outta your Durango and put it on a carrier, like bulkier items, like a cooler, or big luggage bags. It'll give you a little bit more space inside of your vehicle. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2021 Dodge Durango. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and it is an exposed cross tube, so it hangs down a little bit here, and you can see the portion of the hitch, but overall it looks pretty clean. And this one, being a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening means that you're gonna have tons of options whether you're using it for bike racks, cargo carriers, a ball mount, or really any accessory that you want to load up. Now, any of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8" pin and clip. Now this doesn't come with the hitch. A lot of your accessories when you pick 'em up will have those included, but if you wanna pick up an extra or a locking version, we have plenty of those here at etrailer. more

Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Durango and it is an exposed cross tube so you are gonna be able to see the entire hitch portion that's hanging down below the rear fascia. But overall it's not too bad of a look. And this one's kind of nice. It's got a weld on tab here. So if you plan on putting trailer wiring this makes it easier to pick up a four pole or a seven pole bracket and bolt up directly. more

Now, when you think of a trailer hitch, most people are going to think about towing a trailer, and we totally can do that with our Durango, but it's also going to allow us to put other accessories in there, like a bike rack that way we won't have to worry about cramming our bikes in the inside, or maybe we just need to make a little bit of room, we can put a cargo carrier on there. The fact that it is a Class III hitch means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, we're going have the widest variety of accessories that we can use and mount up, but regardless of what accessories we do mount up, they're all going to mount to the hitch pin hole here on the side.Now our hitch is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Durango, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: 75713.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. This hitch features a nice angular design, which helps conceal underneath our vehicle and it's also tucked up nice and tight against our fascia. This hitch does have a unique feature that other hitches don't offer, and that's this attachment point right here, off to the driver's side, which you can attach any of your wire harnesses to, such as your seven-way round, your four pole flat or any other wiring harness that you may need.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. You can pickup a pin and clip on our website as part number: PC3.This hole here, closest to the rear, that's a rear-pin stabilization device. What that does is take away the annoying shake, play and rattle of what is inserted in your receiver. Bolted onto the bottom of our receiver and the frame of our hitch is our plate-style safety chain loops. more

With this being a Class III hitch it's going to be extremely versatile, tons of accessories that you can put in here, cargo carriers, bike racks, of course ball mounts for towing trailers. Here's what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. You can see it's a little tidier than some of the others. Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we're going to take a look at then show you how to install the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers a two inch opening, its part number is 87608. Here's what the hitch looks like when installed. As you can see it goes right below the bumper here as opposed to some of that would sit up a little bit higher behind our cover. Got nice safety chain connection points on each side we should be able to get just about any kind of safety chain connected. This is going to give us a good very good tow rating. We've got a six hundred pound ton weight capacity. That's the maximum amount of force we can put downward here. more

Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. Our hitch is a really nice compact design, full steel welded construction. It's got a nice black powder-coated finish. The only thing we really have hanging down here is our chain hold downs on each side, the two pre-drilled holes that are in our receiver tube, the 5/8 pinhole, and the 1/2" pre-drilled lock holes. Hitch itself is a class three 2" by 2" receiver tube hitch that is capable of up to 600 pounds of tongue weight and a 6,000 pound tow capacity. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Duragno, we are going to install the hidden hitch trailer hitch receiver part number 87608. Now here is what our hitch looks like installed in our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 2 1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 14 1/4 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now to begin our installation, we are going to need to first raise the rear hatch of the vehicle and we are going to need to lower down the spare tire. more

All right, today on our 2013 Dodge Durango we're going to install Part Number 75713 from Draw-Tite. All right, next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground would be 15 and 1/4 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is 1 and 1/4 inches. Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. Look on the inside of the frame rail, on both sides there's going to be 2 bolts we have to remove. Now save these bolts, because they will be re-used to install the hitch. more
